María came to the Atelier accompanied by her mother with quite clear ideas and from the beginning there was a special connection between us.
After trying the different models and lasts, we opted for a semi-open pump with a 10 cm wide heel; This type of pattern enhances the leg and its crossed straps help lengthen it, allowing greater comfort and support.
We were clear about the color loaded with symbolism, blue is always an option as far as bridal shoes are concerned, but in this case the connection with the sea, since the bride and groom are from Valencia and the wedding was also held there, was clear. To this we add the relationship to heaven, since María's last name is Colom; she dove in Valencian; that's why we included a small appliqué of birds on the soles of her shoe.
The blue faceted velvet transports us to these celestial and marine worlds; Just like the old silver metallic brocade straps, they dressed her feet with elegance. María's heel was one of our "Scultura" creations, a delicate manual work that resulted in a relief with natural motifs in tune with her shoe and that marbled effect dotted with metallic touches that make her shoe a unique work that only someone so special could carry.
The look created by Alicia Rueda stylized her figure and marked a very original style that recalled the great actresses of classic cinema.
It was a pleasure to be part of this special day that will surely remain in the memories and hearts of these happy couple and all the loved ones who accompanied them.
