Emotion through my veins when Carlos, one of our stylists at Just-ENE, accidentally dropped the name of the blog. Suddenly I remembered my father singing Serrat out loud, and I thought, this is the name. By the same rule of thumb it could have been the “Yellow Moss” but it seemed less descriptive and less "cool", why not say it.

In this post, I simply wanted to explain the reason for this “Unofficial” blog within the Official website, what a controversy….

My name is Irene Gil, and I am the creator of this madness that is Just-ENE. At least the first one that entered it and the one that passed it from paper to reality. Many more people have contributed here with their work, ideas, reflections, psychological and monetary support and much more, but hey, there is always someone who puts all the pieces together and that was me, although I rarely say so.

When I started this adventure I created my own blog about the adventure of undertaking, of which I no longer remembered the name, and which I think had about six posts, but which I loved to write. But I never liked self-promotion and I thought that putting it on Just-ENE might not be appropriate because it gave the brand “informality” and maybe it seemed just the opposite of what it was intended to do, so I left it.

Now, that you already know us (at least those of you who are reading this, and if not, welcome), and that we are all more and more human and brands less brands, and formality every time is less overrated (or so I think), I think it's a good time to get it back, and convey at least my personal vision of what I think I can contribute something to. In these times, I think that sometimes value can be added, even without thinking about it, or at least, a vision of things, that whoever is interested will read and whoever is not, will not.

My idea is to share reflections, ideas, about the adventure of undertaking, about Just-ENE, about how to start a business and how I started and in general about things that inspire me to tell something because I think there is something to tell.

In the same way, ideas, things that you want to know or that you think are worth knowing about, will always be welcome and you can leave them in comments 😊.
