How many times has wearing a comfortable or uncomfortable heeled shoe been able to decide your day? Fortunately or unfortunately, this is one of the great realities that women face.
To be honest… how many pairs of the same shoes have you bought because the first one was comfortable? And what's more, how many times have you gone back to the store to see if "it won't arrive in another color"?
Just as if we buy a chair (no matter how beautiful it is) we hope to be able to sit on it, women hope to be able to walk all day in our shoes, or at least we dream about it.
Wearing high heels means having to be able to do your daily life, if I want to go shopping, run to catch the bus, endure a day's work from one place to another or dance the night away, my shoes have to accompany me. I for one don't have a chauffeur, so I don't want a shoe that depends on it. On the other hand, we have not yet found the way to make an attractive pack of "Just-ENE + driver", so working in comfort is currently the best solution that we have come up with.
Many of you who have used a Just-ENE ask us why are your shoes so comfortable?
I always like to say that at Just-ENE we make shoes created by women for women. Personally, before putting out a new design, I literally rip the shoes apart. Mar, one of the cornerstones of Just-ENE, still wonders what I do with them, and I always answer the same thing, "use them". I have never been a fan of shoes that are only pretty in the closet, so all shoes have to pass the "Irene Test", not easily passable.
Women have managed to hide it to the point of seeming that having your foot practically in contact with the ground is comfortable. Let's face it, it's not true. How much damage has been done by the phrase "to be beautiful you have to suffer"!
We are aware of the limitations, and really having your feet at the edge of 90 degrees to the ground is not comfortable. However, a non-conformist by nature, I refuse to be a victim of such torture, and by the way, I never go below 10 cm heels. And yes, it's true, I like challenges.
This is one of the reasons why we allow you to customize the heel height, and in fact, the maximum heel height we work with is 10.5 cm without platform (12 with it) and all our shoes ( even the dancers) have built-in gel sponges to make this “procedure” less painful. We are not going to deceive you, if you have never worn a 10 cm heel, we have not been able to do magic either, but if this is the heel that you like and that you are wearing, I assure you that you will notice that they are more comfortable than normal.
The last is one of our keys, the creation of a shoe begins with it, and without a good last, it is impossible to make a good shoe. In our case, it took months until we found the last that met our requirements (consequences of having two women shoe fans at the forefront of such an important decision). We wanted it to be somewhat wider than normal, so that when you put on a stiletto, you would not feel that instead of 5 fingers you had one but very wide, and avoid that feeling of "I don't know if I have lost my toes or is it just that They just fell asleep." We also greatly reduce the deformation of the shoes in the toe area. Many times I have wondered if I had left a finger inside to ensure that they were still there marked even when they were in the closet. With this type of last, I think we have managed to make wearing a stiletto less traumatic for most women.
We are also aware that not all women have perfect feet (and I include myself), so we often sacrifice a bit on design so that most of you find them comfortable. Unfortunately, not all women have magazine feet, or "foot jobs" seem to be that advanced, so I like that the shoe doesn't reveal a bunion, wide foot, or foot with other blemishes. A high-heeled shoe highlights a woman's femininity, is elegant and sexy... until everyone realizes that your foot looks like it has more than 5 toes.
Another key aspect is the injected rubber in the sole. I wouldn't be able to count the times I've had to go back holding on to the walls (with great dignity and covertly) because when it rains for some strange reason, it seems that you've entered a skating rink by mistake. The injection not only prevents wear on the sole but also incredibly improves the "grip" in these circumstances, so stability on rainy days is guaranteed.
Realistically, Just-ENE is really the result of an egotistical thought, I love shoes, I love Just-ENE and it is my illusion and my dream, and this meant wearing shoes that made me feel comfortable, with which I did not have to come home sighing wanting to take them off, and with which I did not have to decide to return the night before because "I can't with my feet", and this is part of Just-ENE, a shoe in which the woman is the maximum exponent, because it is not necessary to give up comfort to feel sexy and attractive on heels.
